Sitting in Symphony Hall once again, I was reminded of the magic of this institution and of this Hall. There with Keith Lockhart at the podium, the third Pops conductor in the past 80 years, I was surrounded by history and the love and beauty of music. The Pops will be performing 37 concerts in less than three weeks, and when the day is over, it’s only about one thing…the music!

With Christmas just around the corner, some of Salt Lake City’s finest musicians are planning to celebrate Christmas with a song. Mezzo-Sopranos Stina Eberhardt and Ana Mihanovic, Bass-Baritone and Pianist Jed Moss, Tenor Robert Breault and Soprano Clara Hurtado Lee will be performing a wide range of Christmas music that spans a millennium! 2009 Boston Holiday Pops Spreads Good Cheer!

I love the Boston Pops and I always look forward to seeing Maestro Keith Lockhart at the podium. The Pops Holiday concert was filled with songs for everyone, including a creative and smile inducing 12 Days of Christmas! The Boston Pops has a way of spreading good cheer, whether they are performing 35 concerts for the holidays or performing in front of a half a million revelers during the Independence Day celebrations. The Boston Pops is all about making people feel alive and happy, and when you celebrate with the Pops, there is never a shortage of smiles.
